New Hat

Gavin got a new baseball hat this week, and he absolutely loves it! He's worn it every day since he got it. I think he looks pretty cute...baseball hats make him look like a little boy instead of a baby!

Potty Training!

Gavin started showing interest in potty training about three months ago. So I bought him a little Elmo seat and let him sit on it whenever he wanted, but I wasn't pushing it.

When he and I went to Kearney a month ago, he went pee and poop in the potty for Grandma and Grandpa! Ever since, he has been telling us when he has to poop about 70 percent of the time. I think it's because he hates having it in his diaper, he's a clean freak like his dad.

We still aren't pushing it, just taking him when he tells us, but I definitely think he will be easy to potty train once we start full force. He's a very smart boy and has been ahead of the curve so far!

Tonight, he went poop and when he finished I was able to capture him saying "All done!!" And holding his hands out . He will kill me for this one someday, but for now, enjoy!

Happy 7th Birthday Paige!

Little miss Paige has a birthday today! She turned 7 and decided she wanted to have a Minnie Mouse party with us.

We did it up with some big balloons, a Minnie cake, Minnie plates and a Minnie gift bag. We had Mexican food for dinner, and a white cake and mint chocolate chip ice cream, her favorites!

She got some books from Gavin and the new Taylor Swift cd and a Kindle Fire from us.

We have Paige this weekend, and when Steve picked her up from school last night she informed us there was a country dance at the school in 20 minutes!

So we all got our most country looking clothes on and headed to the school.

We all love country music so we felt right at home. Gavin chased his sister and her friends around and they all had a blast.
